March Picks of the Month

March Picks of the Month

Choosing the bundle picks for March was enjoyable. There was a very nice selection of different material to choose from.

Best Journal goes to "A Martlet's Tale". John always produces a nice piece. Nice typefaces along with his hand-made paper. This month his story about the Brylcream as a child was special to me because of the childhood memories it brought to mind.

Best project goes to David Zadra from the Iron-Rock Printing shop. A very nice yet simple piece. The bird perched upon the water pump along with the bucket and tree stump. A very attractive work of art.

The Writing of the month goes to " Hen Prints" by Laurie Kitzke. Her story about the "Brownies" and their mischievous antics was very enjoyable. These little imps cause all sorts of confusion.  Her poem was great to read and her story about the printing of it was was pleasant. And the choice of Goudy Cursive was a great pick.
