Greg McKelvey's Return

Greg McKelvey's Return

Greg McKelvey was an active AAPA member for over forty years when he let his membership lapse in 2024. After retirement, downsizing, and health issues for both himself and wife Sally, he felt he could no longer be active in the organization. But he still enjoyed writing, and between June and December 2024 produced 22 issues of a new journal that he shared electronically with friends and family.

When he discovered AAPA has a seldom-used "E-Journal" section on its website, he rejoined last September. He began submitting those issues of Ink Free for the AAPA website and recently completed the last one. All 22 are available in the "Stories" section.

Since rejoining, he has created another electronic journal, The Zone, which he is sending to Vice President Fred Moe for inclusion on the new AAPA Substack page.

No matter what format he chooses, we're glad that Greg is back in AAPA and finding a way to publish.
