Bundle Picks for December

In December, we were blessed with an array of high quality journals such as Ivan Snyder’s Amateur Observer and delightful holiday greetings from many AAPA folks across the country. Making these highlight choices was tough when the level of excellence and variety is so abundant in the bundle. This is a problem any reviewer should love to have.

Journal of the Month:  I look forward to The Tribby Tribune every December. Dave Tribby recounts the year in the grand tradition of the annual family roundup. I love these kinds of letters & journals that feel personal and focus on what matters – events large & small that shape our lives throughout the year.

Project(s) of the Month: Two projects caught my eye in specific this monthJack Scott’s Thirty Number One and Ray Jerland’s 2018 calendar – both are impeccably printed and visually stunning.

Writing of the Month:  We’re blessed to have Sheryl Nelms poetry almost every month in the bundle – her poem Flying Saucer Christmas (not of the alien variety) features brilliant wordsmithing that conjures an alarming – and somehow humorous – incident.
