AAPA 2026 Election Results

The 2026 AAPA election ballots were included with the July bundle. Members were asked to mark their choices and send them to Secretary-Treasurer Ivan Snyder by August 15. Ivan completed his tally of the 31 returned ballots and submitted his report on August 18. President Tommy White has notified all of the winners. Here are the results.

President: Incumbent Tommy White was the only candidate on the ballot. Tommy received all 30 votes cast for this position and is declared the winner.

Vice President: There were no candidates for this position on the ballot, but after the ballots were distributed three members announced they would be willing to serve. Here is the tally of the write-in votes:
 = Fred Moe: 10
 = Dylan Wylde: 6
 = Ivan Snyder: 1
Fred Moe is declared the winner.

Secretary-Treasurer: There were no candidates for this position on the ballot. Here is the tally of the write-in votes:
 = Ivan Snyder: 9
 = Fred Moe: 2
 = Laurie Kitzke: 1
Incumbent Ivan Snyder is declared the winner.

Official Mailer: Incumbent Katherine Watt was the only candidate on the ballot. Katherine received all 30 votes cast for this position and is declared the winner.

Official Editor: There were two candidates for this position. Here is the tally of the votes:
 = Paige Breault: 15
 = Mike O'Connor: 15
In the case of a tie vote, the incoming President makes the choice. Paige offered to step aside, and Tommy White selected Mike O'Connor as the winner.
