Correspondence in February

February is International Correspondence Writing Month

Hello to all fellow AAPA folks – in the bleak midwinter, it is time to pick up paper & pen and start writing to people. Real mail -postage affixed! None of this electronic mail “stuff”.

February is a terrific month for a daily writing challenge because it’s the month with the fewest number of days. It’s also a tough time of year for many of us, especially those of us in the frozen North! You can write a letter, a card, a note or a postcard - anything that you consider correspondence.

Two guidelines to consider: 1) try to hand-write. Typewriters & computers are fine, but a handwritten note is wonderful. I even love the notes that I can barely decipher.

2) Make sure that your correspondence is sent / delivered, whether by postal service or by you, personally.

That’s it! Have fun! I’ll see you at the mailbox.
