2012 AAPA Convention

Both the American and the National amateur press associations will hold concurrent conventions in Dayton, Ohio, July 26 through 28, 2012.

Ink Cahoots 2011

The 39th edition of Ink Cahoots, AAPA's cooperative annual publication, appeared in the October bundle. With 26 contributors, it is one of the largest ever.

The list of contributors includes nine first-timers (indicated by an asterisk): Dave Tribby (coordinator); Joe Diachenko; Russell & Delores Miller; Peter Schaub*; Len Carrick; Charlie Hoye*; Gale Mueller; Jack Swenson; Ron Hylton; Greg McKelvey*; Richard G. Minutillo; Dean Rea; Barry Schrader; Jack Visser*; Jack Scott; Dave & Cathy Celani; Ivan D. Snyder; Michael Coughlin; Clarence Wolfshohl; Knud Larn*; Stanislaus W. Pekala; Mike Donnelly* & Ken Kulakowsky* & Rich Rutledge*; Frederick Moe*; Matthew Kelsey; Mike O'Connor; Leland M. Hawes, Jr. Stan Pekala printed the cover in addition to printing a page.

Two participants returned after long absenses: Matt Kelsey last appeared in 1975 and Clarence Wolfshohl in 1982.

This year's page was the tenth for Jack Scott. Other double-digit participants in the 2011 edition include Russell & Delores Miller (12), Richard Minutillo (13), Gale Mueller (16), Len Carrick (22), Lee Hawes (39), and Dave Tribby (39).

Any AAPA member can produce a page for Ink Cahoots. Pages should be 4½ by 6 inches, and have at least ½ inch margin on the side to be bound. Copies need to be mailed in time to reach the coordinator by August 31.
