Special Edition of AAJ

A special full-color online edition of the September 2010 American Amateur Journalist is now available in PDF format. This version of the September issue was designed by production guru Mike O'Connor in a wider format than the print edition of the September issue. It also contains an additional column and editoral.

Official editor Dean Rea said of this experimental edition, "Mike and I wanted to illustrate how the AAJ would appear in full color as an online publication."

Ink Cahoots 2010

This year's edition of Ink Cahoots, the American Amateur Press Association's annual cooperative publication, is shaping up to be the largest issue since 2004. With only a few days left before the deadline, 19 pages have been received. Participants include Dave Tribby (coordinator), Russell & Delores Miller, Mark McComas, Bill Venrick, June Bessemir, Gale Mueller, Jon A. Person, Richard Minutillo, Ron Hylton, Jack Scott, David Celani, Mike O'Connor, Len Carrick, Dean Rea, Ivan Snyder, Michael Coughlin, Stan Pekala, Ray Jerland, and Fred Liddle. Lee Hawes will be preparing the wrap-around pages once the full list of participants is known. Ron Hylton printed the cover in addition to printing a page.

Any AAPA member can produce a page for Ink Cahoots. Pages should be 4½ by 6 inches, and have at least ½ inch margin on the side to be bound. For further information, or for a sample copy, contact Dave Tribby at website@AAPAinfo.org
