Real Quick, It's the November Picks

Real Quick, It's the November Picks

Well, I'm late as usual, but here are my November picks.

I'm not sure if such a small bundle makes it easier or harder.

I cannot pick an obituary as a pick of the month, but I want to make special note of all the words that have been given to us by Russell and Delores Miller. We will miss Russell in the bundle quite a bit. Thanks, Delores, for carrying on and sharing your experiences, in sickness and in health, with us, your faraway friends.

I'm such a sucker for both poetry and a certain color of red. Clarence Wolfshohl combines them in his stunning Autumn Poem #2. This is my pick for Project of the Month.

For Journal of the Month, I want to pick June Bassemir's two editions of Over the Fence. June is such a welcome addition to the bundle every month, and lately she has been writing like her pencil is on fire. I love her chatty ways, her household advice, her willingness to bravely take on any topic. Thanks, June. I await your words every month, and miss you when you're not there.

Writing of the Month goes to Marey Barthoff, with another chronicle from the halls of art class. Marey brings us some good news every month, a seemingly impossible task in this time we are living in. Thanks Marey, for keepings us on the good road.
